Owen brings nearly 25 years of financial and operational experience to the organization with oversight and leadership as a CFO for both private and public companies in the USA and on the international stage.  His background showcases a breadth of knowledge with organizations in the technology sector computer including computer and telecom hardware, software and services.  Originally from the UK, Owen has spent much of his career in the USA and comes to the Cleveland area to oversee the strategic planning and financial growth for USA Firmware.

Owen’s professional background includes serving as chief financial officer of Somera Communications, Inc. where he led the telecom organization to a $120 million IPO.  Owen also guided Tempest Telecom Solutions LLC through a rebuild of the finance and operations to generate significant growth.  At Make It Work, Inc. as chief financial officer, Owen led this 2003 computer home services start-up to nineteen consecutive quarters of organic revenue growth, developing a large team of technicians with geographic expansion throughout California.  Also with Make It Work, Inc. he raised $3.5 million in equity funding.  Owen is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, England and a Qualified Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants.  He has served as treasurer and a member of the board of directors for two non-profits, Easy Lift Transportation, a transport organization for those with special needs, and SBSOS, building lives for disadvantaged youth, a nationwide program.
